When it comes to team building, staff retention and wellbeing, I believe there’s nothing better than music to help companies look after their people and promote collaboration. But I would say that, right? After all, I love music so much that I’ve made it my life.
For me, it all started with a music degree that led to a career in music teaching. I’ve helped with professional development for other music teachers, worked with youth and adult choirs, developed music learning strategies for primary school students and delivered vocal coaching for schools across the region. I’ve had the honour of working and performing up and down the country in venues like The Olympic Stadium and The Royal Northern College of Music. You might say I’ve got some experience.
I’ve seen what exploring music has brought into personal and educational lives and I wanted to bring that into the corporate world. I created my workshops because music can bring life and laughter into your workplace that leaves a little something behind after the workshop is over; a happy, more productive team that feels energised and ready to achieve more together. Music to your ears? It’s definitely good news for business.
